how do you breathe Do you breathe more through your mouth or through your nose? During nasal breathing, the inhaled air is cleaned, heated, humidified and pressurized. According to Nestor, this increases oxygen uptake by about 10-15%. He also emphasizes the importance of deep breathing, but especially slow exhalation.
In a breathing technique he describes, you should breathe in through your nose for 5.5 seconds and breathe out through your nose for 5.5 seconds. Try it out a few times and see how you feel afterwards.
